Gantry Cranes

PMT delivers Gantry cranes suitable for handling lift-away hatch covers.

The crane is intended for lifting and transporting a pontoon hatch from the cargo hold on a seagoing ship. Gantry crane structure shall be designed based on maximum coaming elastic deformation. Gantry crane built with driving and hoisting/lowering functions. Hoisting / lowering performed by hydraulic cylinders and driving performed by hydraulic drives.

Gantry cranes are equipped with winches that can handle tween deck panels and bulkheads. Jib cranes are used to lift smaller cargoes, gangways and lashing equipment’s to/from shore and within the ship.

PMT delivers gantry crane with dedicated hydraulic pump unit, electrical reel, position sensors for easy operation.
